Orot Israel College of Education that was established in 1979 and is Israel's largest religious teachers college with over 4000 students pursuing Bachelors and Masters of Education (B. Ed. / M.Ed.) degrees. Based in its Elkana and Rechovot campuses, Orot Israel College seeks to develop educators who espouse both academic excellence and education based on spiritual leadership and Torah values with the aim to effect change in every student, in the Jewish community and in the State of Israel. Orot Israel College is seeking funding for a variety of projects that include: scholarships for disadvantaged students, sustenance stipends for Chareidi/Ethiopian students, capital and renovation projects, computer laboratory, Judaic enrichment programs, Jewish Family Education Center and Orot's Sephardic Heritage Center.
